Prior
to building the group Mr. Fedele held several senior level
engineering management positions at two major television
networks in New York and Miami. As Managing Director of
Network Engineering for Telemundo in Miami he was instrumental
in rebuilding the nation's second largest Spanish language
television network.
Before
his move to Miami Mr. Fedele spent nearly 10 years at
CBS television in New York City, while working the last
5 years as Chief Engineer for WCBS-TV, the flagship station
of the CBS television broadcast group.
With
over 200 published articles to his credit Mr. Fedele continues
to write for a variety of magazines and broadcast journals.
In 1997 he began writing for TV Technology magazine, a
journal devoted to television broadcast engineering issues.
In 1999 F&A was named as Special Consultant
to IMAS Publishing, the parent company of TV Technology,
Radio World and TV Technology International magazines.
Mr.
Fedeles widely read monthly columns in the Technology
and New Media sections of Electronic Media, a weekly journal
published by Crain Communications, lasted from 1991 to
1996. He has also written entries for an encyclopedia
on Technology (published by Focal Press, 1998) and has
authored chapters of several textbooks on broadcasting
and technology.
His
teaching skills earned him an Adjunct position in the
School of Journalism & Mass Communication at Florida
International University (FIU) in Miami where he taught
a course entitled New Technologies of Communication for
broadcasting students in 1996 and 1997.
Mr.
Fedele has also hosted numerous seminars and lectured
for manufacturing companies and organizations such as
the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS),
the City College of New York and New York University (NYU).
With
a degree in electronics and over thirty years experience
in radio and television broadcast engineering Mr. Fedele
continues to further expand the Fedele Group of companies
to meet the needs of a digital future.
